Discovery 702 Walk the Talk 2006 – 2014

2006 welcomed an 8-year long partnership between Discovery, Talk Radio 702 and HSP, which was is in line with the event’s aim of promoting a culture of healthy living and fitness among Joburgers. “This event epitomises good health and community. It allows the people of Johannesburg the opportunity to spend quality time with their families while doing a healthy activity and we are proud to be associated with it,” said Hylton Kallner, Discovery’s Chief Marketing Officer, when asked about their decision to sponsor the event. Although Discovery were great partners on the event for many years and the event served their brand well for that time, their marketing strategy shifted and they focused on other events, which better served their new objectives.
